STRENGTH IN NUMBERS- while we may not individually have the marketing budgets or sway that our multinational counterparts do, together our reach is far greater than on our own. MVAN exists to not only amplify the individual voices/channels of our members, but to create a platform where fans can find out ALL the ways to support Nashville’s independent venues.
ACCESS TO LOBBYIST- we are proud to employ the services of a local lobbying firm, Backstage Strategies. They are on board to help fight for us at both the state and local level, and even recently helped us pass a bill to create a new statewide Live Music & Performance Venue Fund. From parking issues to grant opportunities, this is a hugely valuable resource for our members.
ACCESS TO CALENDAR- as you might have seen on our calendar page, we have created a real time calendar that puts all of the current shows from our member venues in one place for fans to see. We’d love to include your shows in there and drive new fans through your doors!
ADVOCACY SUPPORT- our list of advocates is strong and ready to jump in to help support independent venues whenever needed. We’ve got our members backs, and can always rally the support needed, when needed.
MARKETING SUPPORT- through social media, PR, and a newsletter, we proudly amplify the schedules and big news of our member venues to a base of loyal supporters of independent venues.
